Terrell Owens Wants to Act After Football Career Is Over

Terrell Owens wants to act. Which seems perfectly logical when you remember his over-the-top performance after the "That's my quarterback" playoff loss. There was also the preemptive apology press conference he held earlier this summer where he took the blame for, well, everything.

Throw in Joanna Krupa clowning him on Superstars, as well as the T.O. Show, and his after-football acting aspirations make sense. And Owens happily admitted as much during a conference call with New Orleans reporters (via PFT):
"I'm definitely by far a better football player than an actor," Owens said, in an attempt at self-deprecation that was far more accurate that many of the things he ever has said. "That's something I want to get into after football and I jump on it and talked to a lot of people in production with my show. Practice makes perfect and once after the season is over I'm going to take some classes and after I'm done, I'm probably going to try to link up with Dwayne Johnson, the Rock and Chris Rock and some other guys, Morris Chestnut, I'm good friends with Jamie Foxx and see where it goes."
Johnson, Rock and Foxx I get, but Morris Chestnut? Really? What, Bill Bellamy not returning his calls? Whatever, T.O. is right about one thing: he's going to need some acting classes.

Then again, it's not like Flava Flav is Denzel Washington. Or, hell, Bellamy for that matter. In the meantime, here's a thought: maybe T.O. should act like an NFL receiver who can catch.
