Fantasy Football Week 4 Rankings: QBs

After three weeks of fantasy football, your top-five QB list is filled with the usual suspects. First Peyton Manning, then Drew Brees, followed by Aaron Rodgers, Matt Schaub and ... Joe Flacco?

Yes, the second-year player out of Delaware is proving to be much more than a game manager, throwing for over 300 yards in two of Baltimore's three games and tossing six touchdowns so far this season. While Baltimore is generally thought of as a rushing team, it's a telling sign that Flacco has attempted 104 passes this season (or about 35 per game). The main point of interest to take from this? Baltimore has won all three games. Look for the Ravens to stick with what's working, and Flacco could very well finish this season as a Top 10 QB.

• He may currently be the 11th-highest scoring QB in fantasy football, but there's plenty to love about Jay Cutler as your starting QB this week. He's coming off a three-TD day at Seattle and now faces one of the worst secondaries in the league when Detroit comes to town. Drew Brees torched the Lions for six TDs, so it's not unreasonable to expect another three-TD day from Cutler. If I owned him in any league, I'd definitely use him this week.

• Another matchup to love is David Garrard's game against the Titans. He could have put up amazing numbers against the Texans, but Maurice Jones-Drew proved that to be unnecessary. However, Tennessee is actually a great run-stopping team, so the Jaguars may have to go to the air, and since the Titans haven't been able to stop an air attack all season, that could mean a great performance for bye-week fill-in Garrard.

• Coach Eric Mangini has settled on Derek Anderson as his starting QB for Week 4, but that doesn't mean he should even sniff your lineup. Brady Quinn looks like he needs a change of scenery to be successful at this point, so if he winds up elsewhere at one point, keep his name in the back of your mind. If Anderson falters, I think Mangini goes to Brett Ratliff, who Mangini brought to Cleveland in a draft-day trade with the Jets.
