Of course, despite his talents and high standing on the hardwood, he typically plays a "less than brilliant" character in other genres of "film." Perhaps this clip from Jeopardy, via In Game Now, explains why that is. Or perhaps it just points to his ego. Or id. Or whatever.
Now, it seems a touch unfair to Kareem to simply laugh at him and point and go "bwahahahahahahaha." Why? Well, the category was "I went to UCLA" and the quote used in that clue was originally said by Abdul-Jabbar. But dude, the Trailblazers? When you see "Trailblazers" + "UCLA" you know automatically that the answer is "Bill Walton." Or "Trailblazers" + "Stoned-Out Hipster" if you prefer, but it should have been obvious anyway.
