According to a report Saturday, it did.
Lee's 17-year-old daughter, according to The Tennessean, is not the daughter of McNair. In the nearly three months since the murder of McNair, it's pretty likely good news has been hard to come by for the surviving members of his family, but this has to qualify as relatively good news -- even if it's incredibly minor.
McNair's estate is worth $19.6 million. As things currently stand, it's being divided among his widow and four sons. Lou Taylor, a spokesman for McNair's estate, is still planning on handling more claims, though.
"Very early on it was apparent there would be additional heirs,'' Taylor said. "We took every precaution necessary to be able to provide accurate information for potential claims."For now, if the report on the paternity test is accurate, it's still just those five immediate family members getting a piece of the estate.
