Super middleweight prospect "Golden" Caleb Truax will put his unbeaten record on the line when he faces fading former world champion, Carl Daniels, at the National Guard Armory on Nov. 20 in St. Paul, Minn.

The 26-year-old Truax (13-0, nine knockouts) has stopped five of his last six opponents, and returns to the site of his last fight -- a seventh-round knockout of Patrick Perez in July.

The 39-year-old Daniels (50-18-1, 32 knockouts) briefly held the WBA junior middleweight (154 pounds) title in June of 1995, when he decisioned Julio Cesar Vasquez only to be dethroned in their rematch sixth months later.

But Daniels has lost 14 of his past 15 fights, including the last seven straight, and been stopped seven times during that span.

Still, Truax will be taking a big step up in his 10-rounder against Daniels, who has met the likes of Bernard Hopkins and Chad Dawson, being stopped in 10, and, seven rounds, respectively.

In the co-feature, hard-hitting, 29-year-old welterweight (147) Muhammad "African Assassin" Kayongo (14-2-1, 10 KOs) of St. Paul will end a 13-month ring absence against 21-year-old James Todd (2-1-1) of England.
