Brian Brohm has left the Packers' practice squad and joined the Buffalo Bills active roster, in a move that seems pretty good for both Brohm and the Bills' organization.According to the Journal-Sentinel in Milwaukee, the Packers attempted to retain Brohm (he was a second round pick two years ago) to the practice squad, but obviously the former Louisville quarterback preferred the notion of actually having a shot at playing with Buffalo when presented with equal contracts.
The crazy thing is, he's got a pretty good shot -- Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick are obviously not preferred choices when it comes to quarterback, and even though Brohm never got any traction with the Packers, he's still a high upside player; it's not like he had any where he could really go in Green Bay in terms of jumping Aaron Rodgers.
In Buffalo, however, he presents at least some possibility of a chance to earn full-time jobs for both he and interim head coach Perry Fewell.
