A third matchup between lightweights Tyrell Samuel of Baltimore and Gustavo Dailey of Philadelphia will be the main event of Wednesday night's Baltimore Boxing-promoted card at DuBurns Arena in Baltimore.

The 27-year-old Samuel (13-3, six knockouts) and the 33-year-old Dailey (4-6, one KO) have split victories in past bouts which took place at the Carroll County Agricultural Center in Westminster, Md.

Dailey won their 135-pound clash in July by split-decision, 58-57 and 58-56 respectively on the cards of judges Kenny Chevalier and John Gradowski, with Don Risher scoring their six-rounder 59-55 for Samuel.

Samuel earned his revenge during an eight-round unanimous decision in September, however, by 79-73, 78-74 and 80-72 respectively, on the cards of Gradowski, Dave Greer and Gary Camponeschi.

Another rematch features hard-punching heavyweight Maurice Byarm (4-0) of Washington, D.C., going after his fourth knockout against North Carolina's Maurice Winslow (3-10-1, three).

Winslow returns to the site of his third straight loss, where Byarm edged him by majority decision, 39-37, on the cards of Chevalier and Malik Waleed. Gradowski scored their July bout a draw, 38-38.

In the co-main event, heavyweight Mike Dietrich (11-1) of nearby Dundalk, Md., will go after his second straight victory when he matches up with Kevin Johnson (3-1, two) of Edgewood, Md., in a scheduled four-rounder.

Heavyweight Daniel Kooij, a 24-year-old rising star from Prague, in the Czech Republic, will put his unbeaten record of 4-0 (with one knockout) on the line during a scheduled six-rounder against journeyman Williams Bailey (10-17-2, five) of Virginia.

In another heavyweight matchup, North Carolina's Octavius Davis (2-3-1, one) will try to rebound from October's four-round unanimous decision loss to Dietrich by handing Abodurin Boakinyiyu (1-0) his first loss.

Baltimore's Nick Kisner, a star amateur, will make his professional debut in a four-round heavyweight bout opposite Catonsville's (Md.) Glen Williams (6-4-1, five).

The 33-year-old Williams has won two straight and is coming off of January's second-round knockout of John Michael Terry.
