When reached on his cell phone, Weis declined to comment on the possibility of any future employment with the Browns organization, but did mention that "[Mangini] and Romeo [Crennel] did a superb job of setting the bar just low enough" for the next coach to succeed.
Mangini could not be reached for comment and the automatic AT&T message made it seem as if his cell phone had been disconnected.
