If you judge stardom by YouTube views (and, really, what better metric is there?), then you could make a pretty good case that Baylor freshman Brittney Griner is already America's biggest women's basketball star.

Griner dunked this week in a game against Jacksonville State, and although her influence extends beyond just her ability to slam, it's the effortless way she can throw the ball through the rim that makes Griner a true YouTube star.

I first wrote about Griner a couple of years ago, and since then videos of her dunking have been viewed millions of times on YouTube. It was a smart marketing move for Baylor to upload the above video to YouTube, and I think we're going to see a whole lot more viral video dunks from her in the coming years. She's got star power.
