Danica PatrickAfter months of speculation, open-wheel racing's most-talked about driver, Danica Patrick, announced Monday that she has signed a multi-year deal to remain in the IZOD IndyCar Series driving for Michael Andretti and longtime sponsor GoDaddy.com.

Patrick and Andretti unveiled her No. 7 Go Daddy.com car on Monday's Good Morning America, saying only that it was a "multiyear" contract. It is believed to be at least three years.

Part of the delay in making the official announcement was a restructuring at Andretti's team, where Patrick has driven the last three seasons. Andretti has taken over full control of the four-car IndyCar team that went by Andretti-Green Racing and renamed it last week, Andretti Autosport.

"You know, my life long goal is to win the Indy 500 and I'd love to do that in the GoDaddy.com car,'' Patrick said in a release Monday morning. "Michael Andretti has helped me become a better driver and we hope to accomplish a great deal during the next few years together."

While Monday's announcement clears up Patrick's full-time goals, there is still speculation that she will try out stock cars next year. Patrick is reportedly negotiating to drive in a handful of ARCA Series races and perhaps even in NASCAR's Nationwide or Camping World Truck series in 2010 with GoDaddy.com sponsorship and an announcement on those plans was predicated on finalizing her IndyCar situation.
