Thanksgiving is one of the best holidays of the year because it features pro football, college football, pro basketball and college basketball all over the teevee for several days without the bothersome encumbrances of work. Plus, there's tons of food. Sure, family's a pain, but we take the good with the bad.Now what if you added a shot at a million dollars to that equation? It would be awesome, particularly if you were the one taking the literal shot from half court blindfolded ... and then managed to make said shot.
Of course, the rush of winning a million dollars (and then celebrating by pointing at Reggie Miller, randomly seated courtside, and giving the "chokejob" sign) would probably be ruined when you found out that the whole crowd was pulling a College Humor-style prank on you. I hope they threw the guy something as compensation other than being mocked by Reg.
So yeah, in case you're confused, here's what happens: some guy's picked for a halfcourter, gets blindfolded, and takes the shot. Because the crowd's playing along, when they freak out, he thinks he's made the shot (although he can't see anything) and runs around like an idiot who just got punk'd, complete with Reggie mocking. Then they had him his giant check, worth nothing, and inform him what an idiot he is. It's pretty awkward.
