Police Nab Another Viking for Speeding
State Patrol told WCCO-TV in Minneapolis that Berrian was going 104 in a 60-MPH zone.
"It is a little bit odd," state patrolman Matt Langer said of two Vikings being nabbed in a 24-hour stretch, "but on the other hand, I like the publicity about it, because it sort of tells people here are the ramifications, first of all. And you're going to get caught."
Police also released video of Peterson's traffic stop -- which can be seen on the Minneapolis Star-Tribune's website.
In it, the officer who pulled Peterson over asked him, "How fast you think you were going?"
Peterson replied "85," and the officer responded by telling him, "I got you going 109." The officer then wrote Peterson a ticket and said, "Good luck to you tomorrow," no doubt in reference to Minnesota's Week 12 game against Chicago.
Neither Peterson nor Berrian was arrested, and no discipline is expected to come down from the Vikings or the league. Minnesota head coach Brad Childress did not address the incidents this week.
