In Week 2, Giants' star Justin Tuck suffered a partially torn labrum in his left shoulder when Cowboys' offensive lineman Flozell Adams tripped him during a play. Tuck called Adams' trip "bush league" after a 33-31 New York win.Adams and Tuck came together again Sunday during New York's 31-24 victory. As whistles blew at the end of the final play of the first half, Adams shoved Tuck in the back, sending him to the ground. That touched off a brief melee between the Giants and Cowboys, and Adams was given a 15-yard personal foul penalty.
"You know, I laugh at stuff like that. It just proves what kind of dirtbag he is," Tuck said of Adams. "It takes a coward and some more words that I can't say right here to push a guy in the back when the play is dead."
The play began with Cowboys' kicker Nick Folk attempting a long 57-yard field goal. He missed short, and the ball was caught in the end zone by New York's Domenik Hixon, who stepped out of bounds as he began a runback, ending the first half.
Tuck's version of what happened next:
"They blew the ball dead and I was headed towards the sideline and pretty much just stopped and I just felt somebody shove me to the ground from the back," he said. "As I was getting up I was kind of laughing, but then I looked up and before I could get up he was kind of engulfed in our sideline, so I didn't get to sneak any cheap shots in."
When asked about the incident in the Cowboys' locker room after the game, Adams said, "I ain't talking about him [Tuck]. He's a nobody."
Adams was fined $12,500 after his Week 2 run-in with the Giants -- in addition to tripping Tuck, Adams also kicked the Giants' Osi Umenyiora. The league also fined Adams $5,000 for an unnecessary roughness penalty in Week 1 against Tampa Bay.
According to an ESPN report, Sunday's incident between Adams and Tuck is being reviewed for possible disciplinary action as well.
"Any altercation of that nature is reviewed for discipline," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told ESPNDallas.
Considering he's already been fined twice this season, Adams could be facing a suspension if the NFL finds fault with his actions Sunday.
