The AddsRobert Meachem (WR, Saints, 1,551 adds) - Honestly, the fact that Meachem is still on the board and that we keep highlighting him every single week is embarrassing. The guy now has five consecutive games with a touchdown and one game with two touchdowns. What more will it take to get this guy on your roster?
Jerome Harrison (RB, Browns, 1,111 adds) - Now you see him; now you don't. No wait, now you see again. Given the news that Jamal Lewis was placed on the injured reserve, the guy who showed flashes earlier in the season -- and frankly should have been getting the touches all along -- will finally get his chance to carry the load. Harrison only rushed for 35 yards in Week 13, but alternatively he caught seven passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns. The Browns won't provide consistency, but you also won't see many chances left to pick up a starting running back before the season ends. For this reason, Harrison definitely merits being the top mover this week.
Garrett Hartley (K, Saints, 911 adds) - The Saints score a lot of points, so it's only natural that their kicker should, too. Last week, Hartley kicked the doors down with four field goals and three point-afters. Talk about a life-saving fantasy performance in the week where many teams head into the playoffs and needed him most. Something tells me Hartley either made a lot of friends or a lot of enemies last week.
Jermichael Finley (TE, Packers, 758 adds) - Finley made a good add pre-MNF, but after his stellar showing and dominating red zone performance, including "the power grab," Finley is flying off the board. For whatever reason, Week 13 changed the game a bit at the tight end position with lots of players moving this week.
Kenny Britt (WR, Titans, 454 adds) - Interestingly, with Vince Young turning water into wine so to speak with the Titans' passing game, the receivers are also starting to sneak off the board. Both tight end Bo Scaife and wide receiver Kenny Britt suddenly merit much more consideration with Vince under center.
Davone Bess (WR, Dolphins, 445 adds) - The top option for a rapidly improving Chad Henne, Davone Bess merits attention in deeper leagues. If you need a wideout, pick up Bess and get comfortable for a week or two. You never know when a Dolphin might come in handy.Louis Murphy (WR, Raiders, 421 adds) - No Darrius Heyward-Bey and no JaMarcus Russell have turned Louis Murphy into a rising star for Oakland. Coming off a victory over Pittsburgh with two teeders and 128 yards on four catches, Murphy and Gradkowski seem to be a pair worth watching as this chemistry continues to mix.
Devin Thomas (WR, Redskins, 347 adds) - After scoring a pair of touchdowns to top off a monumental week -- his best as a professional -- Devin Thomas is beginning to look like the real deal. This coming week, the Redskins face the Raiders, so Thomas and company face a nice matchup as well. The X-factor in Thomas' productivity will ultimately be Jason Campbell's consistency, but with five touchdown passes in his past two games, perhaps he too is coming into his own.
Fred Davis (TE, Redskins, 346 adds) - Is it the system? Who cares. In Chris Cooley's absence, backup tight end Fred Davis looks to be posting similarly impressive stats. This past week he notched a touchdown, five catches and 53 yards.
Bruce Gradkowski (QB, Raiders, 244 adds) - Gluttons for punishment these folks, chasing after Bruce Gradkowski's three-touchdown and 308-yard passing effort. It's true; the Raiders' passing attack actually looks pretty decent lately, but I cannot in good faith recommend anyone getting into bed with the Raiders' offense in the fantasy playoffs. There are some things you just don't do and starting a Raiders quarterback in fantasy football (unless his name is Rich Gannon) is one of them.
The Drops
John Carney (K, Saints, 1,002 drops) - Remember Garrett Hartley from the "Adds" list above. He displaced John Carney for the starting job, despite getting suspended earlier in the season for taking Adderall without a prescription.
Clinton Portis (RB, Redskins, 475 drops) - After a very long wait and a bunch of trips to specialists (a.k.a., fantasy football grim reapers), the Redskins sent Clinton Portis to the injured reserve after he continually suffered blurred vision as a result of his concussion. The one bright spot for Portis -- among others like Jamal Lewis and Brian Westbrook -- is that the league is finally making the tough decisions to keep concussed players off the field.
Cincinnati (D/ST, Bengals, 454 drops) - After underperforming a bit during their cushy three-game run against the Raiders, Browns and Lions, the trips to Minnesota and San Diego look far less promising.Jason Snelling (RB, Falcons, 369 drops) - With an uncertain Michael Turner lurking on the horizon and Jerious Norwood looking like the more reliable backup, Jason Snelling does not have the appeal he had just a couple weeks ago. At this point, he is not a terrible sacrifice of a roster spot in deep leagues, but don't expect much from him if Turner works his way back into the lineup this week.
Larry Johnson (RB, Bengals, 251 drops) - What seemed like a nice fantasy play did not last long as Cedric Benson returned last week and assumed the whole workload. Larry Johnson only got two carries for four yards. In other words, unless Benson gets hurt again, LJ holds minimal value.
