They got a point, but it was hardly a moral victory Friday for the Carolina Hurricanes. They coughed up a two-goal lead and had to rally in the third period just to get a point from Washington.Before the Capitals won it on a Mike Green goal in overtime, they got two second-period goals from Alexander Semin to rally from 2-0 down and tie the score. The second of those goals came in the final second (literally) of the period, and Semin got a little (unintentional) help from Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward to make it happen.

Tomas Fleischmann of Washington and Tim Gleason of Carolina scored in the third period, then Green gave the Capitals a 4-3 win in overtime.
