Drew Brees is one of the most fun players in the NFL to watch, but I've never really thought of him as one of the more entertaining personalities in the NFL. I may have to reconsider that, though, after seeing him on Jay Leno -- and seeing that Brees is a lot more entertaining than Leno is.
Brees informed Leno of the following:
-- His nickname as a kid was "Cool Brees"
-- When he filmed a public-service announcement on the White House lawn, he engaged in some trash talk with President Obama, who reminded him that the Bears beat Bress' Saints in the playoffs a few years ago. Brees considered drilling Obama with a hard pass over the middle but thought better of it when he saw Secret Service snipers watching him.
-- He's a big fan of In-N-Out Burger.
-- He's a little embarrassed to admit he watches Glee but blames it on his wife: "My wife loves it. It's kind of our show together, so we watch Glee."
-- He can sing the Purdue fight song.
Overall, it was a good showing from Brees. So good that it made a few minutes of Jay Leno's show worth watching.
