Fantasy Football Week 15 Rankings: RB

Jamaal Charles has had at least 18 fantasy football points in four of the past five weeks. He's coming off his third career 100-yard rushing game, one in which he set a career high with 143 yards on the ground (on just 20 carries -- a 7.2 yard average). He's scored touchdowns in five straight games.

And he's owned in just 69 percent of Fleaflicker leagues. I ask you, what is going on in this community? Why is he not owned in every single league known to man? C'mon on now, let's get it together here.

If he's still somehow available in your fantasy league, go get him now. Yes, Charles enjoyed success last week against the Bills -- who allow more fantasy points to running backs than any other team -- but this week the opponent is the nearly equally hapless Browns (who allow more points to RBs than anyone outside of Buffalo). Charles will enjoy another stellar game.

* Michael Turner appears ready to play, but we still aren't fired up about him. It's gonna be a three-way split in New York for the Falcons.

• Moreno didn't have a great game last week, but the Colts defense is pretty tough (and underrated). This week, expect Moreno to unleash against the Raiders' awful run defense. His career-high in rushing yards is 97. I'm expecting him to break that quite handily in what will be the first of many 100-yard games in his career.

• Maroney should be licking his chops this week. As I wrote about earlier in the week, the Patriots face a similar defense this week as they did last. Both the Panthers and the Bills are good against the pass and bad against the run. Except the Bills (this week's opponent) are more extreme in both areas. Look for the ground game to rule the day, with Maroney getting more looks than Kevin Faulk and Sammy Morris to work himself into low-end RB1-range.

• I'm not confident in Tomlinson for yardage, but he's been pretty consistent in terms of goal-line touches and has scored in five straight games. He also has nine touchdowns in his last seven games. Look at him as an RB2 this week.

• Expect a heavy dose -- albeit a split in carries -- from the Arizona backfield this weekend in Detroit. Check out what the Baltimore duo did against the Lions last week and realize the Cards don't have a Ray Rice. There will be a pretty even split after a big early lead for Arizona.

• Jennings and Harrison have a decent matchup against the Chiefs, but word is emanating from Browns' camp that Josh Cribbs will be used frequently at running back. Even if those reports are exaggerated, Cribbs is still a part of the running game in the wildcat formation. I'm not near as fired up about Jennings this week as many others are.

• Hail Mary sleeper is McCoy. Loyal readers know I've lost all faith in him due to how the Eagles 1) don't need to run; 2) are using Michael Vick; and 3) are using Leonard Weaver. But here's the thing: the 49ers have a solid run defense yet have been shredded via the screen pass on multiple occasions this season. If the Eagles look to exploit this, it's McCoy. It's a gamble to play him, but it would be a calculated gamble based upon this in deeper leagues.
