We're not even three full months into the NHL season, so it's probably a bit early to be naming the save of the year. But Dwayne Roloson's efforts on Monday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning are going to be tough, perhaps even impossible, to beat.

There's really nothing to say except, "wow."

Keep in mind that the entire puck has to cross the goal line for it to be a goal, and there is no conclusive evidence on any of the replays that show the entire puck over the line. Absolutely incredible series of saves by the veteran netminder.

Tampa Bay still ended up winning the game, 4-2, thanks to a pair of goals from Ryan Malone and additional tallies from Steve Stamkos and Vincent Lecavalier. Trent Hunter and Nate Thompson scored for the Islanders.
