Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth ripped the Redskins' coaching staff after being sent home from practice Friday, and he's already looking like a bad fit for the team, less than a year into his seven-year contract.

But Haynesworth denies a report from Brad Biggs of National Football Post that he tried to organize a boycott of the Redskins' Christmas day practice.

"I never even joked or said anything like that," Haynesworth told Jason Reid of the Washington Post, via text message. "Plus, if I was boycotting practice, why in the hell would I be at practice?"

But whether Haynesworth was trying to organize a boycott or not, it's clear that he has serious problems with the team that guaranteed him $41 million just 10 months ago. Whoever the coach of the Redskins is in 2010, getting Haynesworth to put those problems behind him will be a major task.
