Olympic rosters are starting to be announced, and on Sunday team Sweden was presented to the public for the first time. It includes the obvious choices like Detroit's Henrik Zetterberg and Nicklas Lidstrom, Washington's Nicklas Backstrom and the Sedin twins, Henrik and Daniel.

One name that's not on the roster is one of the Sedin's Vancouver teammates, Mikael Samuelsson. And he's not happy about it.

When asked about the snub following Vancouver's 5-1 win in Calgary on Sunday, Samuelsson was brutally honest in sharing his frustration: "Probably going to get in trouble for this, but they can go (expletive) themselves."

Well, you can probably cross his name off the list for future team Sweden rosters, and it's not hard to understand his frustration. With 10 goals, 14 assists and plenty of big game experience on both the NHL and international stages throughout his career, would he have really been a worse choice than Mattias Weinhandl (playing in the KHL) or Frederik Modin (one assist in eight games for Columbus this season)?

Samuelsson, currently playing in his ninth NHL season, was a member of the 2006 Gold Medal winning team, scoring one goal and adding three assists.
