Week 16 has come and gone, and I hope congratulations are in order. I was lucky enough (and yes, I'm aware how big a part luck plays in fantasy football) to win a couple championships this year, including one in my local league and one with some members of my home away from home, the Fantasy Football Cafe.

Below we're going to take a look at some of the players that helped to bring owners a fantasy championship over the last few weeks. If your studs aren't listed below, feel free to post in the comment section and let us know your championship story. If your fantasy season isn't over, fear not. We'll be bringing you Week 17 content to give you that extra little boost and hopefully bring home the gold.

Quarterbacks

Donovan McNabb, Eagles. Donnie Mac submitted 20-point games in each of the last three weeks after reaching that plateau just three times in the fantasy football regular season.

Philip Rivers, Chargers. Rivers also can claim 20-point performances in each of the last two weeks, giving him the sixth-best quarterback performance to date.

Tom Brady, Patriots. If you were able to survive his stinkers in Weeks 14 and 15 (and I'm sure not many of you were), he rewarded you handsomely with a four-TD game in Week 16.

Matt Moore, Panthers. Owners in two-QB leagues that jumped on Moore are overjoyed with back-to-back three-TD games. Dynasty-league owners want him under center in 2010.

Running Backs

Jonathan Stewart, Panthers. What was better than The Daily Show's 123-yard, two-TD performance in Week 15? The 222 yards and one TD he posted as the top running back in Week 16. DeAngelo Williams owners just cringed.

Jerome Harrison, Browns. A week after putting up a legendary performance on benches nationwide, Harrison came through with 148 yards and a TD this week. We'll remember him for the near 300 yards and three TDs in Week 15, though.

Chris Johnson, Titans. The dominant running back of 2009, and he's a shoe-in for the No. 1 pick in 2010. He combined for 524 yards and four TDs over the last three weeks, dominating the fantasy playoffs.

Adrian Peterson, Vikings. Sure, the yards-per-carry average has been down, but Peterson has done plenty to help your team. That includes 382 yards and five TDs (two in Week 16) in the last three games.

Beanie Wells, Cardinals. We'd been shouting that you needed to add Wells for your playoff stretch since October, and he made us look great, with over 90 yards and a TD in each of his last three games.

Lex Hilliard, Dolphins. If you play in a super-deep league and followed the advice in last week's Passed Out at Your Desk, you earned a big two-TD performance from Hilliard, who relieved Ricky Williams after injury.

Wide Receivers

Randy Moss, Patriots. I was skeptical of his Week 15 potential, and he came through with 70 yards and a score. I was crazy about him this week, and he grabbed three TDs and helped my own team to a title.

Andre Johnson, Texans. He's been killing it all year and now stands atop the WR rankings after 16 weeks. He closed out the season with 196 yards and two TDs in Week 14, 196 yards in Week 15, and 71 yards and a TD in Week 16.

Roddy White, Falcons. White was predictably held in check in Week 15 's game against the Jets, but he abused s strong Buffalo pass defense, finishing the day with 139 yards and two TDs, good enough to earn No. 1 WR distinction this week.

Steve Smith, Panthers. After a brief rough patch heading into the fantasy playoffs, Smith turned on the Jets, scoring TDs in each of the last three weeks while averaging 100 yards per game.

Steve Smith, Giants. It had been a while since Smith caught a TD, though he did manage to keep a reasonable yardage total over the previous month. He then hauled in a score in Weeks 15 and 16, finishing as one of the steals of the draft.

Greg Jennings, Packers. He'd disappeared this season, and I'm sure many people had given up on Jennings for 2009. He managed a triple-digit yardage total in each of the last two weeks, proving helpful to the patient.

Jabar Gaffney, Broncos. Mentioned as a last-minute sleeper in 4th and 26 last week, Gaffney benefited from an Eddie Royal injury and a Brandon Stokley ejection, scoring two TDs against the Eagles.

Tight Ends

Brent Celek, Eagles. After combining for 137 yards and one TD in his last two games, Celek turned on the burners, gaining 127 yards and a TD in Week 16, which was the best TE performance of title week.

Todd Heap, Ravens. I'm not sure how many of you started Heap in Weeks 15 and 16, but if you nabbed both performances, you were treated to two TDs in each, unbelievable since he hadn't scored since Week 2.

Antonio Gates, Chargers. Gates turned a slow middle-of-the-season around to score 10 fantasy points or more in each of his last five games and TDs in Weeks 14, 15 and 16.

John Carlson, Seahawks. Carlson was fortunate enough to score TDs in his last three games as well. His masterpiece of the playoffs came in Week 15, when he grabbed seven balls for 86 yards and a TD.

Kickers

Jeff Reed, Steelers. Reed connected on three FGs and multiple extra points in each of the last two games, so if you were lucky enough to pick him up and start him, he gave you quite the edge.

Sebastian Janikowski, Raiders. If you earn bonus points for long FGs, you loved to see Janikowski's 61-yarder on Sunday. He been in double digits in our setup for each of the last four weeks.

Matt Prater, Broncos. His four FGs in Week 15 were likely the difference in many close semifinals games, and he followed it up with two FGs and three extra points in the title game.

Defenses

Carolina Panthers. Who was brilliant enough to start them against Minnesota and New York the last two weeks? They allowed single-digit points and recorded four sacks in each, while earning four turnovers this week.

Dallas Cowboys. As if the four-sack, three-turnover game in New Orleans wasn't good enough, the Cowboys pitched a shutout on Sunday night, earning a healthy bonus for many owners.
