Saints' McCray Arrested for Driving While Eating Pizza*

No way this wouldn't have happened three weeks ago, back when the Saints were still undefeated and running up the score on the rest of the league. Then the Cowboys came into the Superdome to hand New Orleans their first loss of the season, and last Sunday, the lowly Buccaneers made it two in a row with a "What the hell just happened?!" overtime victory.

And now, Saints players are getting arrested for consuming pizza. At least that's Bobby McCray's version of the story. According to WWLTV.com, McCray was arrested Tuesday morning on DWI charges. According to McCray's Twitter feed, it was something less than that.

"Trying to deal with this Bogus charge of DWP ..driving with Pizza. ... I had cuffs on me with in 3minutes..This was a short guy with Napolean complex. ... He starving ranting and raving saying I think I know it all and threw me in cuffs...my fiance was feeding me pizza driving home."

McCray has since deleted his Twitter account but you can see the tweets in question below, courtesy of the Sporting News' The Trenches blog.

Somewhere owner Tom Benson is unwittingly celebrating McCray's arrest.
