The FanHouse Podcast: Because bloggers are much sexier on the phone.

On the 43rd HausCast, Will and Ryan talk about the end of NFL regular season, all the 8-7 AFC teams still fighting for wild card spots, as well as the biggest story of the weekend: coaches choosing to sit their starters when in meaningless end-of-year games in order to get healthy for the postseason.

Well, unless you're Bill Belichick and you decide to keep your starters in during a meaningless game and one of your best players gets hurt. (The lesson? Whether you choose to sit or play your best players, this time of year the media will call you out on it. Good times.)

Also discussed: some of the ideas the league is throwing around to keep teams from tanking late-season get-togethers. One that's sure to fail: offering clubs compensatory picks for not mailing it in this time of year. Which means that rule will likely be implemented this spring.

Talking starts after the jump.
