Pops Mensah-Bonsu Sings National AnthemThe Raptors are going to waive forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu. It's a move which, on it's face, won't send shock waves through the Toronto community.

Unless, of course, some poor soul stumbles while singing the national anthem. Then where will the Raptors be? They'll be without their reserve big man and resident vocalist there to save the day. Oh, the (potential) humanity.

The good news, is that Marc Stein says the Raptors hope to sign back Mensah-Bonsu to a 10-day contract provided he clears waivers. The waive is more about money than basketball ... or singing, for that matter.

But enough about that. Time to make with the video.

The London-born Mensah-Bonsu has bounced around the NBA , D-League and Europe since leaving George Washington University. But he seems to have a thing for Canada. Let's hope it works out.
