It took nearly two months, but finally some good news for Tiger Woods: President Obama has his back. In an interview with People Obama said that he "absolutely" believes that Tiger can rehabilitate his personal life despite having mistresses that number in the teens.

"I'm a strong believer that anybody can look within themselves, find their flaws and fix them," Obama said. "I'm sure he feels terrible about what happened, and I suspect that he will try to put his life back together again."

Yes, I'm sure Woods feels terrible about getting caught, too. Whatever, looking forward to Rep. Eric Cantor's thoughts on the matter.

In other Tiger-related news, GM has decided it will no longer give Woods automobiles to crash. The automaker and the golfer had an endorsement deal that expired in 2008, but Tiger "retained an agreement that allowed him to keep several GM motors on loan."

It's not a total waste, though (via Wei on Par): GM says that Tiger Woods' Cadillac Escalade will be repaired and eventually auctioned.
