Reggie Bush looked like the 2005 USC Trojans version of Reggie Bush against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, making what may have been the best run of his NFL career with a 46-yard touchdown in the first quarter. The run showed everything everyone thought Bush would display a lot more frequently in the NFL: elusiveness, shiftiness, the ability to break tackles and the ability to outrun defenders in the open field. It was the second-longest run Bush has made in a Saints uniform, topped only by a 55-yarder he had against the Rams in 2009.
Bush later broke free for a second touchdown on an 83-yard punt return.
This was the third playoff game of Bush's four-year NFL career, and he continued to look like a player who saves his best for the postseason: the longest reception of his NFL career was an 88-yard touchdown that also came in the playoffs, in the Saints' 2006 NFC Championship loss to the Bears.
