Milton Bradley Sued by Chicago Landlord
It would appear it wasn't just in the Cubs' clubhouse where Bradley was making enemies. According to a report from the Chicago Sun-Times, Bradley is being sued for skipping out on his rent. The owner of Park Hyatt condos, luxury living quarters on the famed "Magnificent Mile" on Chicago's Michigan Avenue, is suing Bradley for $44,100 in back rent and is also expecting Bradley to make the several remaining payments on his lease.
According to court documents, Bradley disappeared on Oct. 12 and stopped making rent payments. He has reportedly been sent letters demanding his payments and never replied or paid. He signed the lease on April 1, 2009.
No matter what happened, I think we can all be sure Bradley will say it wasn't his fault -- nothing ever is.
