I think I could beat Andy Roddick in a tennis match, provided he played left-handed and gave me two months to train.Alas, I will never get this chance. Chad Ochocinco, however, might.
Those are the terms of a challenge being negotiated via Twitter between Roddick and Ochocinco. The particulars of the potential deal are still being discussed.
It all started like this: once upon a time in Twitterland, Roddick was apologizing for audibly cursing during a live television broadcast of the Australian Open.
Naturally, Ochocinco replied by proposing that he and Roddick "Play a set for PINK SLIPS my favorite car (71 chevy caprice) *donk*."
Donk, indeed. So, no way Roddick is going to respond, right? He's in the middle of the first Grand Slam of the season. Well, wrong.
Roddick likes a good bet. And he does Ochocinco one better, proposing they play for a car of the winner's choice. This is where things probably get better for me. You know, since I don't have the financial independence to bet a new set of wheels.
All in all, it's nice to see Roddick is still in good spirits during a week in which he has tripped over a line judge, been called for a foot fault in a charity game, and cursed out the aforementioned official. As for Ochocinco, it's just nice to see he's not calling out a horse.
