I tuned into the show wanting to hate it, but like seemingly everyone else in America, I couldn't get enough of it. It's car-crash television at its finest, because no matter how ugly it gets, you just can't turn away. Well, now the "guidos" and "guidettes" of the show are so popular and busy that they're turning down roles in movies due to a lack of time. So who do you cast in your movie when Snooki doesn't have time for you? Why Bronson Arroyo, who else?
Now they're too "busy" for big movie roles. The stars of MTV's "Jersey Shore" turned down a role opposite "The Sopranos" legends William DeMeo and Vincent Pastore because they didn't have time, said a source. According to an insider, producer Irena Angeliades approached the show's cast members about cameos in her independent film "Goat." But, "They replied they would have loved to do it, but they were just too busy." Instead, Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo and former MLB player Eduardo Perez will appear in the movie, which also stars Armand Assante and Ice-T.How do you turn down a movie with both Armand Assante and Ice-T? That has to be good.
As for what Arroyo's role is in the movie, he and Perez will be making small cameos in the film. Since they're replacing cast members of Jersey Shore, I can only assume that they'll either be fighting people on a boardwalk, pumping their fists or beating up some beats.
And tanning. They'll definitely be tanning.
