Senator-Elect Scott Brown was Jay Leno's guest on "10 @ 10" Thursday and here's what we learned:

- Leno's parents named their dog Bruce, in honor of Brown's dad. True story.

- Brown swims two miles, bikes 95 miles, and runs 15 miles a week. (Not much time left to govern, I'd think, although a former Texas politician managed to parlay his fondness for working out into an eight-year White House stay.)

- As a law student, he appeared in Cosmo (proof below):

- Brown knows that Curt Schilling played for the Red Sox.

- Was nicknamed "Downtown Scotty Brown" because when hooping it up he never met a shot he didn't like.

- And Brown thinks he can take the President in a pick-up game: "[Obama] looks like he's in great shape but it would certainly be a tough game. The only time I spoke to him was election night and I did challenge him to pick his best and I'll take my daughter ... who plays for Boston College, and we'll challenge him in a little two on two. I think we'd have the upper hand."

Chad Ochocinco is unimpressed with Brown's trash-talking skills.
