Bobby HebertBobby Hebert was born and raised in Louisiana, and he played for the Saints in the late '80s and early '90s. And he might be a bigger football fan now than at any time during his NFL career.

Earlier this season he was seen whooping it up in the press box, and now the Cut Off native is mobilizing the Who Dat army. On Sunday, Hebert convinced thousands of men to dress in drag and prance through Bourbon Street to celebrate New Orleans' first Super Bowl appearance.

There are more conventional ways to honor the local football team, but as the man kindly explains in the video below, "Only in New Orleans. This is the only place you can see this."

The AP adds: "Hebert came up with the idea to pay tribute to late New Orleans sportscaster Buddy Diliberto who had vowed to parade through the French Quarter in a dress if the Saints ever made it to the big game."

Mystery solved.
