Tiger Mistress Veronica Daniels Wants Face Off Commemorative Golf Balls

To recap: getting paid to have sex on camera ... okay. Having your likeness reproduced on a golf ball with 11 other women linked to Tiger Woods ... not so much. That's what former porn star Veronica Daniels (whose professional name was Joslyn James) told the media Wednesday.

"I've come forward today because I feel it is wrong to have my picture on it." Now all that's left is for the Nike Swoosh and that Slazenger cat to file a class-action lawsuit. Actually, this doesn't have anything to do with sex; Daniels is concerned the golf balls will encourage violence.

"As a victim of violence myself," Daniels explained, "it bothered me to think that someone would be standing with a dangerous club in their hand and hitting a ball with my face on it."

It's not clear if Daniels understands that it's not really her face on the golf ball, just an artist's rendering.

Either way, Daniels' legal team has requested that Creative Classics, the outfit behind the idea, immediately stop selling the balls.

According to NBC Los Angeles, Creative Classics owner Mike Caldwell said the claims by Daniels and her lawyer Gloria Allred (yep, that one) were frivolous. "I think probably it's Gloria at her finest trying to get her face in front of a camera," Caldwell told City News Service. He said the allegations that the product promotes violence against women have "no basis at all."

Alternatively, might I suggest the Tiger Woods commemorative plates Billy Dee Williams was hawking back in December. They're both decorative and functional.
