VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- When Kristie Moore, 30, failed to make Canada's 2010 Winter Olympic curling team last year, she decided to start a family with her long-time fiancée. But weeks after finding out she was pregnant with her first child, the Grand Prairie, Alberta, native was offered a spot on the team as the alternate. Amazingly, Canadian Curling officials had no problem bringing her to Vancouver, so here she is, 5 1/2 months pregnant at the Olympics Games. Moore is officially the third woman to compete at the Olympics while pregnant.
