The Philadelphia Eagles released running back Brian Westbrook on Tuesday, ending his eight-year run with the franchise. As one of the best players at his position during the prime of his career, it's obviously a big story across the league.

In the wake of his release, the crew at SportsCenter thought they were getting a live interview with the two-time 1,000-yard rusher late Tuesday night.

They were very, very wrong.

It was obvious the moment the voice on the other end of the phone started talking that it wasn't Westbrook. How he even made it to live TV should be shocking ... until you realize this isn't the first time SportsCenter has fallen victim to a Howard Stern prank call.

Let's go back to 2003 after the infamous Steve Bartman game, when Dan Patrick thought he was speaking with public enemy No. 1 in Chicago.

Looks like ESPN has bigger problems than Hannah Storm's wardrobe.
