When the National Enquirer identified Rachel Uchitel as Tiger Woods' mistress back in late November, the other ladyfriends in his life couldn't sell their stories fast enough. Whether other tabloids magazines, internet sites or morning talk shows, women came forward with alarming frequency. At last count, they numbered in the teens.
The latest: Howard Stern is planning a beauty pageant for former lovers of Woods. Via the TimesOnline.com (by way of Out of Bounds):
As if Tiger Woods's apology last week for his serial philandering wasn't enough of a public humiliation, several of his former mistresses have agreed to take part in a beauty pageant in which they will compete for a $100,000 (£65,000) prize. ...It gets worse. According to E! (via Dogs That Chase Cars), Chris Brown has Tiger's back, too, which is sorta like Osama Bin Laden endorsing the airline industry. It's not even a good idea in theory.
So far, only four of the golfer's former mistresses - out of the 13 identified in the press - have agreed to take part. They will compete in categories such as "Swimsuit", "Personality", and "Talent" to earn the judges' votes.
