Albert PujolsThe FanHouse staff has had some time to ponder over our initial fantasy baseball rankings (which you can view by clicking here), so now it's time for the updated version -- no drawn out tables, just down and dirty rankings. We will elaborate on significant moves after the ranks.

Pretty good consensus among the FanHouse staff for the elite players here, as our entire top-five were ranked unanimously in identical order from one through five. One thing to keep in mind here is that we've ranked every single player who is eligible at first base -- and tons of players get work in at this position for various reasons. For example, Victor Martinez played 70 games at first last year, but he's also eligible at catcher, a much more scarce position. Feel free to cross off players you plan to use at different positions at your own leisure, but as long as they are eligible, they will be listed here.

• We had a drastic drop for Carlos Delgado -- all the way off the board. He is only going to be playing in the second half of the season -- and still doesn't even have a team. There is really no reason to take him unless you have a really deep bench in an already incredibly deep league. Even then, you should be prepared to drop him if your team falls stricken with injuries.

• Looks like Chris Davis is starting to pique our interest a bit, as he rises a couple spots. The rationale is simple. He was hyped in a major way before last season for a reason. Just because he disappointed doesn't mean his talents have fallen by the wayside. He's still young enough (will be 24 in a few weeks) and he did make adjustments after returning from the minors late (.308 with 6 homers and 26 RBI in 133 at-bats).

• Russell Branyan also made a nice little jump, which was due to the fact that he signed somewhere with an open starting job since last time we ranked the players. The Indians aren't great, but they do have a pretty nice lineup in front of him which will provide RBI opportunities.
