The FanHouse staff has had some time to ponder over our initial fantasy baseball rankings (which you can view by clicking here), so now it's time for the updated version -- no drawn out tables, just down and dirty rankings. We will elaborate on significant moves after the ranks. Like first base, there are several guys here eligible for other positions. Third is a bit more shallow than first, so someone like Mark Reynolds is usually of better use here, but third is still deeper than second -- so move Gordon Beckham to the middle the first chance you get. One interesting movement within the position has come toward the top. We have slightly bumped David Wright over Evan Longoria. It seems the further we get away from last season, the more we believe it was relatively fluky. But would you really entrust him with a first round pick after 2009? Tough call ...

• Gordon is slightly on the rise (three spots), and that's mostly due to myself slotting him 12th. You can read why by clicking here.
• Brandon Wood is also moving up (four spots), and that's mostly due to R.J.'s feelings on the youngster. You can read those by clicking here.
• Really, the overwhelming majority of the shifting here was by three spots or less, so we don't really have anything major to report just yet.
