GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The Indians are a team squarely focused on the future, and one of the biggest pieces of that future is 23-year-old switch-hitting catcher Carlos Santana.

Acquired in a deal with the Dodgers, Santana now is considered the Indians' top prospect. He hit .290, posted 55 extra-base hits and walked more times than he struck out (90 to 83) in 130 games last season at Double-A Akron.
