(March 6) -- Someone in the Golden State holds the winning ticket to the Mega Millions jackpot, which peaked at $133 million Friday night.

The winning numbers were 11, 31, 34, 44 and 52. The Mega Ball was 32.

Seven other lucky players joined the now-multimillionaire from California in netting some cash during Friday's drawing, including residents of Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey and New York.

The biggest jackpot ever paid out by the Mega Millions, which includes lotteries from 12 member states, was shared by a New Jersey couple and a Georgia truck driver in 2007, according to The Star-Ledger in Newark, N.J. They split $390 million.

The next drawing will be Tuesday. The jackpot stood at $12 million Saturday night.
