The Arizona Cardinals have undergone their fair share of defensive transactions so far this offseason, but most of the moving has been players leaving. In a likely attempt to somewhat combat the purge, they have inked veteran linebacker Paris Lenon to a three-year contract. Lenon, 32, played last season for the Rams after spending three years with the Lions. For the Lions, he put together consecutive 115-plus tackle seasons. He's more of a part-time player who is good on special teams anymore, so the Cardinals haven't exactly found the replacement for Karlos Dansby. They will reportedly continue to pursue Joey Porter. They were pursuing Larry Foote, before learning he signed with the Steelers -- so Lenon may have been their second option here.
Still, in an offseason that saw Dansby, Antrel Rolle and Bertrand Berry depart, the Cardinals will take any kind of good news they can find, even if it's simply adding someone for depth.
