As the March Madness 2010 begins, FanHouse's NBA team looks at the top prospects in each regional.

The first round of the East regional wraps up in Jacksonville and Buffalo, as No. 2 seed West Virginia deals with Morgan State, Clemson draws Missouri, Wisconsin takes on Wofford and Temple meets Cornell. We have nine prospects for you to look out for.

Devin Ebanks, SF, West Virginia
20 years old, 6'8, 205 lbs., Sophomore
Ebanks has bounced between the lottery and the end of the first round based on killer physical indicators but inconsistent production and a questionable attitude. A small forward who can't shoot, Ebanks would excel on an up-tempo NBA team: he's a speedy attacker, a good finisher and a fantastic athlete. College ball -- particularly Bob Huggins ball -- isn't always built for that, but perhaps the Madness of March will allow the NBA version of Ebanks to break through. -- T.Z.

Da'Sean Butler, SF, West Virginia
22 years old, 6'7, 205 lbs., Senior
Butler is a big jump-shooter, a veritable Rasual Butler of sorts. Sound exciting? Well maybe it ought to. Butler improved every season at WVU (which isn't always the case for senior stars) and can pass the ball. Teammate Ebanks is far more in line with NBA values, but Butler could be an important player if he falls to the right team. -- T.Z.

Juan Fernandez, PG, Temple
19 years old, 6'4, 180 lbs., Sophomore
Fernandez is a vastly improving point guard who really understands the game and how to utilize his teammates, particularly in pick-and-roll situations. Just a sophomore, he is as pure a point guard as there is in the field, and is an absolute delight to watch. Not the most explosive lead guard, he is one of the most skilled and intelligent. He runs the Owl offense to a tee, initiating sets and directing traffic. The winner of the Fernandez-Ryan Whitman battle could determine who moves on between Temple and Cornell. -- Jordan Schultz

Kevin Jones, PF, West Virginia
20 years old, 6'8, 195 lbs., Sophomore
Jones doesn't get an abundance of looks next to Butler and Ebanks, but he makes the most of his opportunities, scoring efficiently and limited turnovers. In the pros, provided Jones can improve his defensive rebounding, he can be a roleplaying big man not unlike a Josh Powell or even Brandon Bass. -- T.Z.

Kim English, SG, Missouri
21 years old, 6'6, 200 lbs., Sophomore
The Tigers leading scorer is one of the best players in the Big 12, a conference ripe with talented guards. His 14 points pace Mizzou, but it's his senior leadership that coach Mike Anderson relies on to properly execute his team's hellish style of play. -- J.S.

And Four More ...

Trevor Booker, PF, Clemson -- Booker is an absolute man. The Clemson senior will flat out dunk on you if you're not careful. Booker averages 15 points and 8 rebounds for Oliver Purnell, but it's his obvious intensity and overall demeanor that stand out immediately. -- J.S.

Lavoy Allen, PF, Temple -- The Owl power forward is said to be too deferential for his own good, but he's a decent scorer and a killer rebounder. If his defensive talent is as good as it looks in the A-10, he could make the league. -- T.Z.

Ryan Wittman, SG, Cornell -- The 6'6 bomber, the son of former NBA journeyman Randy Wittman, is lethal from the outside. The combination of Wittman and 7-footer Jeff Foote is very troubling in the half-court. Against No.1 Kansas in January, the two combined for 36 points in the near upset at Allen Fieldhouse. -- J.S.

Trevon Hughes, PG, Wisconsin -- Hughes likely isn't an NBA player. But the Badgers are too good not to mention! -- T.Z.
