Let's face it: keeping track of your fantasy team on an iPhone can be a tedious experience, especially if you're a hardcore owner. In the time it takes you to run your index finger across the screen to scroll through stats, find latest news on a potential pickup, head to the waiver wire, make the transaction, process a lineup change, curse at the screen because you missed your league deadline ... you get the point. This process can be even more frustrating if you need to manage multiple teams in more than one sport and on different fantasy platforms.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to the FREE Fleaflicker iPhone app, an all-in-one tool that allows you to seamlessly toggle between tracking your favorite squads, checking live scores, researching complete stats, and browsing the latest player news from Rotowire and FanHouse. Life in the fantasy lane just got simpler and easier.

So what's this app capable of doing and why should you download it, even if you're not a fantasy gamer? Let's take a tour, shall we?

Pro Scores

One of the coolest things in the new app is the ability to follow live "pro" box scores across all four major sports. The difference between Fleaflicker's pro score and a regular mobile box score lies in the statistics. Normally, when you check box scores on a sport app like Sportacular or ESPN Mobile, you're given the basics. For example, with an NBA box score, the categories displayed are points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and personal fouls. And if you do want to see additional stats, you have to jump through an extra hoop to get them.

With Fleaflicker's pro scores, you can view the full assortment just by scrolling across the line. LeBron James may have scored 32 points for your team, but you want to see if he damaged your field-goal percentage and how many turnovers he tallied. You can also see a handy "fantasy points" column, which allows you to find out which players shined in fantasy leagues, according to default scoring settings.

What if you wanted to backtrack and see what LeBron scored a few nights ago? The day filter allows you to scroll backward through time to whichever box score you need.

There's also a live play-by-play option right next to the box score tab, where you can see a complete breakdown for each quarter, including how many fantasy points were added or lost on a particular play.

Watch List

Juggling a bunch of fantasy teams across different sports is a real pain. But with the "Watch List" feature on Fleaflicker's iPhone app, at least it's a breeze to follow all your teams' day-to-day performance -- even if they're on fantasy platforms other than Fleaflicker. Just label your different lists and fill them up to keep tabs on your Yahoo!, ESPN, CBS and Fleaflicker leagues. You can browse by position or just search for your players directly to add to your list.

Don't have a fantasy team to watch? You can still get use out of this function. For instance, if you're a Yankees fan, you can create a Watch List team that only has Yankees players on it. Like stars named Ramirez? (who doesn't?) Make a list composed of Hanley Ramirez, Aramis Ramirez, Alexei Ramirez and Manny Ramirez. Sorry Ubaldo Jimenez, go find another list that wants you!

Once your list is stocked, you can follow live statistics while games are taking place. If you just want to do some stat research on your team's players, the handy filter settings allow you to sort by season, time period and home/away splits.

My Teams

If you're in a Fleaflicker league, making lineup changes and waiver-wire pickups is hassle-free with the iPhone app's team manager function. You can jump quickly to the fantasy sport of your choosing using the upper tabs.

Then, once you've loaded up your team, it's as simple as using "Switch" in your lineup to make the appropriate replacement from your roster options. Picking up new players for your team is just a matter of checking them off and deciding who's the unlucky ones on your team to get jettisoned.

Player News

When you need the latest player updates, just fire up the app and head to the "News" tab on the far left. You can navigate between sports quickly and search by player name.

Fantasy news from award-winning Rotowire.com and articles from FanHouse are streamed right to the Fleaflicker iPhone app. Unlike some other apps that display a group of sources but send you off to an external Web site to read the full story, our player news and FanHouse articles are formatted for a quick-loading, strong mobile viewing experience.
