John Daly won't be teeing it up at the Masters this week but that doesn't mean he won't be in Augusta, Georgia. In fact, he'll be parked on Washington Road across the street from Augusta National selling John Daly-inspired merchandise.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Rhonda Cook writes that "Instead of a purse for playing in the tournament, the money he will take with him when he leaves Augusta will come from hawking a plethora of John Daly merchandise: hats, T-shirts, towels and club covers for $20 and bracelets and pit flags for $5. His idea of golf shorts – more like something a surfer would wear than a golfer – sell for $75."

It's not the first time J.D. has set up shop at the Masters. He first did it in 2007, hanging out at the local Hooters signing autographs.

Hopefully one of these years he'll actually qualify to play in the tournament. His last appearance was in 2006 when he missed the cut. That was also the last time he held his PGA Tour card. For now, though, he'll be the guy peddling his wares in front of a huge RV.
