Last week, Barack Obama hooped it up with CBS basketball analyst Clark Kellogg, yesterday he threw out the first pitch at the Washington Nationals opener, and then he made his way to the MASN booth to talk baseball with the Nats television guys, Bob Carpenter and Rob Dibble.

If you had to make a list of people in this country who could stump the president on just about any subject, Dibble would rank somewhere in the 300 millions. And yet there he was doing just that Monday afternoon. The question that caused Obama to stammer?

"Having played with the White Sox for a short time I know how the Cubs fans and the White Sox fans go back and forth. Who was one of your favorite White Sox players growing up?"

I think we found Sarah Palin's running mate for 2012. By the way, the correct answer to Dibble's question is Manny Ortiz and Lambert Field. That's Running for President 101.
