Tiger Woods mentioned at great length his desire to show "respect for the game" upon his return at the Masters. Part of that means he would no longer indulge in obscenities on the course, or at least try not to anyway. For the first two rounds, he kept his emotions nearly impeccably intact, but once Saturday rolled around, Tiger seemed to get a little loose.
As you'll see in the video below, after an errant tee shot on six that led to a bogey, Woods berated himself, stating that "TIGER WOODS, YOU SUCK!" before following it up with a loud expletive.
This is, clearly, as SportsCenter anchor Sage Steele tweeted, "... pathetic in so many ways." Or, alternately, it's what 90 percent of grown men do on the golf course when they hit a bad shot.
Of course, the real gold was CBS announcer Verne Lundquist's response: "I don't think he's pleased."
