Some emotional wounds heal faster than others. For golfing great Greg Norman, it took less than six months to rebound from his 15-month-marriage to tennis legend Chris Evert. New Idea magazine reports that Norman, 55, is dating Kirsten Kutner, 14 years his junior. "Miss Kutner has been a long time friend of Norman, having spent much of her childhood in Australia where he grew up," according to the Daily Mail. "... Confirming his new relationship to Australia's New Idea magazine today, Mr Norman said from his home in the U.S.:
'In life, we all go through a learning curve and my life is no exception. I am now in a very good place with Kirsten. She grew up in Sydney's northern suburbs and we are planning to visit Australia this winter.'"
The Daily Mail also reports that Kutner recently divorced her husband, the father of their two children, ages five and two.
"She wants to spend some time enjoying life, traveling with Greg and injecting as much fun and happiness into their lives as she can," a friend told New Idea. "It might seem like Greg has moved on quickly, but that's the type of person he is," they added.
Here's to hoping Norman and Kutner enjoy dating and don't rush into marriage.
