Here's what's happening around the National Football League on Sunday, May 23, 2010: • Raiders running back Michael Bush was the subject of some trade talks earlier in the offseason, but it's a safe bet that he starts the year as Oakland's starter.
Jerry McDonald of the Contra Costa Times wrote Sunday that there is "no chance" the Raiders will unload Bush because Bush is still under his rookie contract -- a fourth-round deal -- and Oakland would likely ask for first-round compensation in return. Bush carried the ball 123 times for 589 yards last season, but figures to see a bump in chances this season with Oakland's release of Justin Fargas.
• Multiple NFL sources told the Denver Post that the Broncos shopped quarterback Kyle Orton around this offseason, though a team source said that Orton is not currently on the trade block.
That Denver would try to deal Orton shouldn't come as a surprise -- with Brady Quinn and Tim Tebow in tow and Orton only signed through 2010, he's an obvious candidate to be moved.

• Kicker Leigh Tiffin is back on the Browns' roster after being injury-waived last week. No one claimed Tiffin, so he returned to Cleveland's injured reserve list. Tiffin went undrafted in April, but signed a rookie contract with the Browns, then had a strong rookie camp.

• Ronnie Brown, coming off lisfranc surgery on his right foot, hasn't ruled out being ready for Dolphins' training camp later this summer.
"Definitely not,'' Brown told the Miami Herald. "I've been getting better on a weekly and daily basis. I've come a long way. In the offseason program, I started running. And how long has it been, eight, nine weeks into the offseason, and now we've started the OTAs, and I'm out here. There are positives. And I look forward to making progress every time we have something as a team, I'm trying to do something. I'm optimistic.''
• Miami's not the only team hoping to have a star player back in time for camp -- the Bears are hopeful that linebacker Brian Urlacher, lost last season to a wrist injury, will be 100 percent soon.
"There isn't anything I can't do on the football field or in the weight room,'' Urlacher told the Chicago Tribune. "Sometimes, like when you have an ACL (tear) or something, it's sore. That's how my wrist is. My wrist doesn't swell. And like I said, there's nothing I can't do out there. That's being 100 percent to me.''
