Derrick MorganTennessee Titans first-round draft pick Derrick Morgan was arrested Wednesday night in northwest Georgia on charges of speeding and driving with a suspended license.

Morgan was jailed and later released after posting bond of $2,180. The rookie defensive end has a scheduled court date of July 26.

Morgan, who lives in Atlanta, was heading back to the team's practice facility in Nashville when he was pulled over. He was accused of driving 91 mph in a 70 mph speed zone. He was pulled over around 5 p.m and released a couple of hours later.

The Titans selected the defensive end out of Georgia Tech with the 16th overall pick in April's NFL Draft. Neither coach Jeff Fisher nor Morgan's agent was available for immediate comment. The Titans, however, did acknowledge they were aware of the situation.

It is the second off-field incident the Titans have been faced with in the past week. Vince Young created headlines after being cited for assault at a Dallas area strip club last weekend.
