Koman Coulibaly quickly had his Wikipedia page defaced following the US v. Slovenia 2-2 draw. Right now, he's not a very popular man in America.

This happened because of the video you'll see below, in which Landon Donovan takes a free kick, puts it into the box, and has Maurice Edu gloriously finish it off for a 3-2 US win! Well, that's what SHOULD have happened. Except Coulibaly disallowed the goal because Edu was offsides based on a totally phantom foul against Edu.

Even if he was, worse yet is the fact that Michael Bradley, who scored a beautiful equalizer just a few minutes earlier, was being literally bearhugged by a Slovenian defender. All of which means Edu should have been allowed to continue his shot regardless of where on the field he was or, worst case, the US should have been given a penalty kick.

And that's precisely why everyone should just keep calling it "his" goal.
