Wesley Johnson of Syracuse will be picked third in the 2010 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets, according to both ESPN.com's Chad Ford and Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress, the two top draft prognosticators.

Ford's latest mock draft reports that Derrick Favors, widely considered the top big man in the draft, has fallen below Johnson on the Nets' draft board following Monday's workout session featuring Favors and center DeMarcus Cousins. Givony followed that up later Tuesday by tweeting that DX's next mock will move Johnson to the No. 3 spot because his sources says New Jersey brass is set on taking him Thursday and chasing a power forward when the 2010 free agency period begins July 1.

Our most recent mock draft had Favors at No. 3 and Johnson falling to No. 4, where Minnesota has reportedly been set on him since May. Johnson wowed Minnesota in a workout and interview last week.

Interestingly, Wolves GM David Kahn criticized Favors' fitness level after the Atlanta product visited Minnesota, saying he felt Favors was "out of shape." Favors handled it gracefully, though those who have spoken to his agent have reported Favors' camp is outraged. Now it appears Kahn could be in a position to draft Favors, marking the second year in a row he handled his top pick without remarkable grace.

The Kings could either pick whichever top big is left over between Favors and Cousins, or turn to Georgetown pivot Greg Monroe. John Wall and Evan Turner are expected to be the first two picks in the draft by the Wizards and 76ers, respectively.
